- Norcia: A medieval village famous for its Basilica of St Benedict (destroyed in the 2016 earthquake and being restored) and for the production of cured meats in the Norcineria tradition.
- Visso: Another medieval village, now with a red-zoned historic centre, but still rich in traditions and places to visit. It is also the seat of the Park Authority.
- Preci: A town not far from Norcia (once part of the same territory) that hosts the Abbey of Sant’Eutizio and the Surgical School (once linked to the monks’ activities). Both structures are currently being restored after the 2016 earthquake.
