The path from Foce to Il Lago di Pilato (in the inner basin of Monte Vettore) is an itinerary that, like those of the Gran Sasso chain, the Laga mountains and Monte Terminillo, offers the possibility of seeing edelweiss, golden eagles, peregrine falcons and rock partridges. Excellent itineraries to discover the charm of the Apennines of glacial origin.
This long itinerary starts from the small village of Foce and climbs to Monte Vettore (the highest peak in the Sibillini), and can be extended to descend to Forca di Presta via the Rifugio Tito Zilioli.
